We are growing rapidly and looking for a talented QA Team Lead with strong technical expertise in test automation to elevate product quality across our visual design and AI-powered content creation platform. You’ll lead a small but mighty QA team, build scalable processes, and make sure our users get a smooth, stable product — even as we ship fast and innovate constantly.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed team of QA engineers (manual + automation).
- Own full QA strategy: processes, standards, test planning, and quality gates.
- Build and optimize QA processes, test strategies, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with Product & Engineering on acceptance criteria, risk areas, and release readiness.
- Oversee test planning, regression cycles, and cross-platform testing.
- Improve and maintain test documentation: test plans, test cases, quality gates.
- Drive the automation roadmap and ensure high-value tests are automated.
- Manage release testing, smoke checks, and post-release quality validation.
- Track key QA metrics (defect leakage, coverage, cycle time, etc.) and continuously improve.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Strong hands-on manual testing skills for complex SaaS applications.
- Solid understanding of test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to advocate for quality.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience testing design tools, editors, or highly interactive UIs.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS), performance testing, and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of real-time collaboration, OT/CRDT, or multi-user systems.
