Objects adapt to background color, My Files improvements & more
We’ve rolled out several improvements to My Files to make storing and managing your assets in Visme smoother than ever. Plus, we’ve added a smart feature that automatically adjusts the color of added objects based on your background. Scroll through the presentation to learn more.
Objects adapt to the background and contrast for better visibility
Text boxes, specific shapes, and lines will now automatically adjust their color based on the background they’re placed on. If the background is dark, text will appear in white; if it’s light, elements like shapes, text, and arrows will be added in black. A couple of things to note: if you’ve manually changed the text color, the next text box will inherit that color, regardless of the background. Lastly, this smart contrast behavior hasn’t been applied to all text boxes or shapes yet.
My Files improvements
In this release, we’ve made several updates to the My Files section in both the dashboard and the Editor to help you stay organized and find files faster.
- Breadcrumbs have been added for easier navigation through your folder structure.
- The “Dimensions & Size” column has been split into two, so you can now sort and filter files by size and dimensions separately.
- In the file Settings popup, you’ll now see the name of the folder where the file is stored. It’s clickable, so you can jump straight to that folder with one click.
125+ templates added to the library
Over the past few summer weeks, our designers have added more than 125 new templates to the library. The new designs are focused primarily on business use cases, including presentations, documents, printables, and forms.
