Nested Lists, Live Camera View When Presenting & More

In this release, we’ve added nested lists with customizable styles based on user feedback. You can also personalize AI-generated voiceovers by adjusting the accent, speed, tone, and more.

Create Nested Lists in Visme

You can now create nested lists in Visme for more organized and structured content. To get started, go to the text editing menu on the left panel and enable Lists. Choose from three numbered or three bulleted styles, and customize each bullet or number style as needed. To create a nested level, press the Tab key. To move back a level, press Shift + Tab. You can also adjust the indent padding for better spacing.

Fine-tune voice style in AI text-to-speech

You can now adjust accent, tone, emotion, intonation, speed, and more using the new Voice Instructions field in the AI text-to-speech generator. Simply enter your preferences and generate the audio. Note: this feature is in beta, so results may vary depending on your prompt.

Improved Blank Project Creation Flow

We’ve updated the process of starting from a blank template. For most content types, you’ll now see three options: Create from Blank, Generate with AI Designer, and Import PDF or PPTX (available for most content types, except infographics, whiteboards, videos, and forms). If you choose to create from blank, the Templates panel will automatically open in the editor, making it easy to switch to a template if you change your mind.

Live Camera View for Present Mode

You can now turn on your camera in the Present view to appear on screen while presenting live. Just click the three-dot menu and select Show Camera. Once enabled, you can move the bubble around and customize its style using the menu next to it.

More Improvements

  1. In the full-screen Present view, the control bar now only appears when you hover over the bottom of the screen, instead of showing up with every cursor movement.
  2. We’ve added two icons for when you are actively editing all carousels: one icon allows you to rotate the carousel, and the other to move it around easily.
  3. Easily adjust the Reading Order for objects from different slides by clicking on the new slide dropdown menu.
Bug Fixes
  1. In Hotspots, objects now appear in the correct layer order.
  2. Imported PDFs now render properly when downloaded in JPG, Video, and GIF exports.
  3. On mobile devices, audios now auto-plays after navigating via ‘Insert to Link’ hotspot.
  4. Timestamps now display correctly for projects inside folders.
