Improved Reading Order, Font Dropdown Menu, and More
In the latest release, we’ve updated our font dropdown menu to display more fonts at once, added the ability to reorder design elements in the Reading Order, and introduced several other improvements. View the presentation to explore all of Visme’s latest updates.
Reading Order Now Lets You Edit the Order of Your Assets
Previously, the Reading Order feature in our Accessibility Checker only displayed the sequence in which screen readers would read your project. Now, you can rearrange that order to ensure your designs follow a logical reading flow for users with visual impairments. To adjust the reading order, simply open the menu via Hamburger Menu -> Accessibility -> Accessibility Checker -> Reading Order, and drag the elements into your desired sequence.
Updates to the Font Dropdown Menu
We’ve made several improvements to the font dropdown menu to make selecting fonts faster and more convenient across all screen sizes. Here’s what’s new:
- When you click to change the font from the floating bar, the font menu will now open in the left panel.
- The dropdown is now longer, allowing you to view more fonts at once.
- Hovering over a font will preview it live on the selected text box in the canvas.
- At the bottom of the dropdown, you’ll now find fixed buttons to apply the selected font across the entire project or to replace an existing font with the new one throughout the project.
New 3D Charts Coming Soon!

Updated UI and Functionality in the “Create New Slide” Popup
We’ve made several UI and functional improvements to the popup that appears when you click the “+ New Slide” button. Fonts and colors have been changed for a cleaner look, and the My Slides tab has received a few updates:
- Slide Group previews now display slide thumbnails, group name and the number of slides it contains.
- A new search bar has been added to the My Slides menu to help you quickly find the slide you need.
225+ New Templates Added
We’ve added over 225 new templates across presentations, whiteboards, documents, and printables. Plus, we’re working on a brand-new content type behind the scenes. Stay tuned for an exciting update coming soon!
- Illustrations in downloaded PDFs now display fully.
- Replace color now works correctly and no longer resets after refresh or in the Player.
- Mockups now render properly.
- Replacing an SVG logo with another no longer triggers an error message.
- Adding PDF files to the canvas no longer causes performance issues.
- Video categories in the media library now load correctly without pagination errors.
