Design perfectly aligned content easily, with SmartBlocks
In this release, we’re introducing SmartBlocks, a native row-and-column layout system built directly into the Visme editor. It helps you build structured, grid-based layouts without manually positioning individual elements. Click through the presentation or scroll down to find out more.
Features
Take full control of your layout
- Hover any row or column and drag-to-reorder it smoothly.
- Select multiple cells to merge them into one. Split back at any time.
- Use the move icon to drag any content block to a different cell.
- Columns, rows, alignment, padding and gap controls are all consolidated in the left panel.
Fine tune without breaking it
- Auto-Resize Text scales your font proportionally as you resize a block. Turn it off and it stays fixed.
- Image Auto-resize lets you fill a cell with a photo and reposition the crop.
- Use cell styling to set background colors and borders per cell or per selection.
- Lock Size ensures your block stays within its boundaries as you add rows or columns.

- Blank grids give you a structure to build from scratch.
- Data presets have charts, percentages, and widgets already in place.
- Section presets give you full-width content blocks ready to customize.
- Text presets are pre-structured copy blocks for titles, body content, and labels.
