File access improvements, 250+ new templates, and more

This release brings powerful file access controls, map improvements, and a massive template expansion to help you create better content faster.

Improvements

File access from dashboard

We’ve made it easier to navigate your organized files. Folder names now appear as clickable links on file thumbnails in both the dashboard and editor. This small change makes a big difference when you’re managing multiple projects across different folders.

What’s new:

  • See which folder contains each file at a glance.
  • Click the folder name to jump directly to that folder.
  • Long folder names display with ellipsis (…) to keep the interface clean.

Expanded map coverage

Our interactive maps library just got significantly larger with 35 updated maps and 30 brand new additions. Find the maps by navigating to Data > Countries and selecting your region.

  1. Canada: Provinces now available.
  2. Mexico: New province-level maps.
  3. USA: Congressional district maps added.
  4. New countries: Including Andorra and many more.

Player optimization for iPhone

Interactive maps now render as SVG images on iPhone devices, ensuring smoother playback on iOS. The optimization is enabled by default for new projects. But you can toggle the setting on or off in Advanced Settings → Appearance → Interactive Maps. When sharing a project with maps and the optimization is disabled, a notification appears.

Templates

200+ New Templates Added

This month’s template release is huge, with 237 new templates spanning multiple categories:

  1. Presentations: creative, sports, and business themes.
  2. Infographics: anatomical and informational designs.
  3. Documents: plans, newsletters, proposals, reports, and more.
  4. Printables: invitations, certificates, and schedules.
  5. Social graphics: facebook posts and instagram posts.
  6. Data visualizations: line graphs, pie charts, and bubble charts.
Bug Fixes
  1. Grouped objects: Fixed grouped objects becoming ungrouped after refreshing.
  2. Font display: Resolved font display errors in templates.
  3. Slide groups: Fixed crash when deleting slide groups.
  4. Bullet lists: Corrected bullet list formatting reverting to numbered lists when pasting.
  5. Exporting video: Fixed audio cutting off on first slide in exported MP4 files.
