Favorite Your Templates and Projects

You can now mark any template from the Visme library or any of your own projects as a Favorite. All your favorites are collected in one easy-to-access place, so the designs you use most – or want to return to later – are always at your fingertips.

How to Favorite a Template

To set a template as a Favorite, go to Dashboard -> Home -> Select a content type (for example, Documents). Scroll to find a template you like and hover over it. In the top right corner of the template thumbnail, you’ll see a star icon. Click the star, and it will turn yellow – this means the template has been added to your Favorites.

You can access your Favorites anytime from the Favorites tab, located under the content types section, next to All Templates (and Branded Templates if you’re a business user).

To remove a template from Favorites, simply click the star icon again, and it will be unselected.

How to Favorite a Project

To add a project to Favorites, go to Dashboard -> Projects, then click the three-dot menu on the project or folder and select Add to Favorites. To remove it, follow the same steps and choose Remove from Favorites.

You can find all your Favorite projects in the Projects section of the dashboard. At the top, under your workspace name, you’ll see categories of your projects, including Favorites.

Easily Replace SVG, PNG, and JPG Files

In Visme, you can use the Replace button to swap photos and icons without losing their position or size. This is faster and more precise than dragging a new object onto the canvas.

Previously, SVG graphics could only be replaced with other SVGs, and JPG/PNG images only with JPGs or PNGs. Now, you can replace SVGs with PNGs or JPGs, and vice versa. This update makes it easier to maintain your template layouts and saves you time when editing projects.

Simplified Editing of Audio and Video Hotspots

We’ve improved the workflow for editing hotspots that open videos or audio. Previously, clicking on these hotspots in the editor would play the media. To make changes, you had to navigate to the hotspots menu and open the video or audio section.Now, clicking on an audio or video hotspot in the editor opens the hotspot editing menu directly, so you can adjust it right away.

In the player, the behavior remains unchanged: clicking the indicator will still play the video or audio.

First Carousel Now Available to All Users

Good news for Free Plan users – you now have access to Visme’s first carousel type. With this improvement, you can add up to 7 images in one carousel to showcase multiple full-size graphics. You can also enhance the design of your carousel by adding text to all or individual images, adjusting text position, applying color overlays, and more.

More Improvements

1. View/Hide Password: When sharing a project with password protection, you can now show or hide the password which is helpful for double-checking or retrieving it if forgotten.
2. Uploaded Image Sizing: Any image uploaded to the canvas will now be scaled to fit the project size. If the image is larger than the canvas, it will be added at 75% of the project’s smaller side.
3. Project Status for ENT Users: Enterprise users can now see the project status (Approved or Not Approved), even if no approver has been assigned.
